Little Lady’s new glasses!

I love them!  She is thrilled.

Little Lady didn’t know all of the things she was missing!

A group of us went over to a vendor demo in Columbus, OH.
(our sister station is there)

Here my friend poses during a  break at a rest area.

Three departments had an open house at work.
It was a state fair/carnival theme.

The GM (left) dressed up as a clown and his assistant
dressed up as the state fair queen!

Wiffleball!  The kids (and their friends) slammed the ball!

Little Lady even hit it in the water!

They are soooooooo cute!

This is the first day of school.  Little Lady was VERY
excited about school.  Little Man was also excited about it.

They both had a wonderful first day.

We got out of dodge and headed down to McCormick’s Creek State park!

We hiked a new trail and then also did some creek hopping.  (seen here)

It was so nice to get out in nature.

Mom found a really cool rock with several fossils in it.

This is a picture of the white river.  Trail 7 runs by it.  On the opposite
bank, you can barely see a canoe under the treeline.  They were getting
cover from the rain.

I worked the DCI Drum and Bugle Corps World Championships Saturday night!

This was one of my few breaks.  I was working in a production truck in
the bowels of Lucas Oil Stadium.

This is a shot through the tunnel which leads to the field.

The production truck was HUGE.   While opened up, the space
was bigger than Mom’s apartment in Chicago.

After 27 years, our promotions director decided to move onto another job.

Today was his last day and we threw a going away party for him.

Dr. Oz (in the suit to the right) came to our station and spoke to everyone!

He is a very good speaker in person, very engaging.

Dr. Oz is our 4pm lead-in to our news this fall.  I feel a little better about it.
(it used to be Oprah)

Right after this, by accident, I was in the urinal next to him.  He finished
first and did not wash his hands for very long at all….

Then he went our client luncheon at the Conrad.  At 3pm, he went to
the Indiana state fair and spoke to a HUGE crowd.

Yes, girls like Legos too!

Little Lady said she would like this for her her birthday.

Little Lady is all about homes.  When down at Grandma and Grandpa’s
house, she will watch “House Hunters” all day if you let her.
