Little Lady is playing soccer on the big field this year.  She did very well,
but it was HOT!  The grass was all crunchy.

We finally got to meet Aunt J’s new kitties!

Lee is giving Little Lady loving.

Aunt J made a yummy dinner for us!

Little Man is playing with Eartha (black) and Lee (white).

They love chasing balls.  (Lee is the dominant one)

It is our house, all four of us and even Tinkerbell.

She did such a good job!

Mom’s friend came down all the way from Madison Wisconsin!

We took her to the top of the Soldiers and Sailors Monument in
downtown Indianapolis.

We climed all 330 steps to the top of the monument!
(everyone’s legs were a little sore afterwards)

There was a bicycle race downtown that day.  We got
to watch it because part of the race went right by
Monument Circle.

Mom and her friend talking with Conseco Fieldhouse in the background.

Luckily, they had air conditioning in the observation deck.

In case you don’t know, the Soldiers and Sailors Monument
is to the right.  It is at the very center of the city.

We went to a small art show in Ellenburger Park (an old stomping ground
on the east side for me, Aunt J and Uncle D)

As part of the show, they had an animal petting zoo.

This is a fat tailed geko.  The geko stores fat in its tail until it needs it.

So litereally, this geko has junk in its trunk.

This turtle was also part of the animal petting zoo.

After the show, we ate at Jokomo’s Pizza.  It was the
first time Mom and the kids ate at the great pizza place.

Little Man helped make my Mom’s recipe for Honey Apple Cake.
(Aunt J gave us a copy of it)

It was soooooo gooooood.
